Arctus was slowly making his way through the precarious churning waters of Hunters Valley careful not to slip through and cut yourself against the steep wet rocks. He shoes were worse for wear from long and tiring journeys and his clothes nearly in tatters did nothing to prevent him from shivering. Yet he labored to walk as fast as he could to reach the Fairy Tree of Wind before the night enveloped this magical world. He looked up to the sky – the first stars were already winking at him brightly. Hunters Valley teemed with all kinds of beasts and monsters in daylight but at night it plunged into hibernation to make for all kinds of wonders and miracles that could happen to a plain ordinary fighter like Arctus. Suddenly a gust of wind brushed against him making him topple over into the water and cut his right knee causing blood to flow freely. He let out a string of pungent curse words as he pulled himself up and limped toward the towering Fairy Wind of Tree. Something in the thick shrub darted past him. Or behind him. And again past him. His fear quickly grew into bewilderment and confusion. “What the hell was that?” He whirled and immediately groaned in pain as he tripped up straining his knee. He slumped down against the tree dropping his weary body. He closed his eyes for a moment or two. When he opened them he saw a white rabbit nestled in his chest. “Dojma!”, he exclaimed. A white charmed rabbit that brings those lucky ones he comes across riches beyond one’s imagination. Dojma jumped off Arctus’s chest and vanished behind the magical tree before our hero could say “Happy Easter”. When he turned around he gasped. The spot touched by the white rabbit now offered a small piling of eggs. Big sparkling diamond, ruby and emerald rocks, the sunlight mischievously bouncing off their edges. It was definitely the luckiest Easter Arctus has had in a while.
