NCsoft announced that Lineage has made $1.8 billion since it launched 15 years ago in 1998. The medieval fantasy MMORPG is hugely popular in South Korea, with millions of subscribers also spread out in China, Japan, and other markets.
Lineage II meanwhile has been played by more than 14 million users since that came out in 2003.
